Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our licensing support and how we work with drivers.
Still have questions? Are you a council or Transport for London?
No. Smart Taxi Solutions Ltd is an independent business providing administrative, training and licensing support services. Licensing decisions are made solely by the relevant licensing authority.
Which councils do you support?
We currently support drivers applying through a range of UK licensing authorities, including TfL / PCO, Wolverhampton, Manchester, Birmingham and more. Speak to our team if your council isn't listed.
What does a package price include?
Each council has its own process, so package details vary. Our team will explain exactly what your chosen package covers before you commit.
Do you guarantee that I will get a licence?
No. We help you understand and prepare for the process, but the decision to grant a licence always rests with the licensing authority.
